But what’s often overlooked is that during each mahadasha (major planetary period), the dasha lagna becomes active, and it can completely shift the way your personality expresses itself, how you think, what you desire, and how you move through the world.

This is our analysis of the Vedic birth chart of Bryan Kohberger. In the video below, we apply Parashari and Jaimini Jyotish techniques to gain a deeper understanding of his chart. Transcript of Our Predictions for All Ascendants
On November 3rd, Venus will move from the sign of Virgo, where it’s debilitated, to the sign of Libra (which is Venus’ moolatrikona sign). On November 10th, Mercury will turn retrograde in the sign of Scorpio and start heading back toward the sign of Libra. Also, Jupiter will turn retrograde on November 11th and start heading back toward the sign of Gemini. However, Jupiter will still remain in Cancer throughout November. On November 13th, retrograde Mercury will cross over Mars in the same degree.
After that, on November 17th, the Sun will move into the sign of Scorpio, joining Mercury and Mars. Retrograde Mercury will cross over the Sun in the same degree on November 20th, and then on the 24th of the month, Mercury will reenter the sign of Libra from Scorpio, where it will cross over Venus in the same degree on the 25th. Finally, Venus will move into the sign of Scorpio, where it will be conjunct Mars and the Sun, on November 27th.
For better or worse, this vakri budha (retrograde Mercury) is the star, our main character of November 2025. This Mercury may cause a lot of trouble for everyone, being in an enemy sign and crossing directly over Mars and two other planets throughout the month.
When Mercury recently crossed directly over Mars on October 20th, you may have noticed a tendency for people to be extra aggressive around this time, and for there to be a strain on your decision making process. However, Mercury was in a sign exchange (parivartana yoga) with Venus in October, which gave Mercury more strength to overcome this difficult transit. When this happens again in November, Mercury will not be in nearly as good of a condition.
The themes and challenges related to the sign of Scorpio will be prominent in November. These can include personal transformation, sudden gains or losses and hidden information coming to the surface.
Mercury retrograde can make you second guess decisions that were made in the past, and go back to figure out if you need to modify your course of action. When Mercury crosses directly over the Sun while retrograde, usually some information comes to light that you were not aware of, which you are able to use as you move forward. This will be especially true after Mercury turns direct in December. When Mercury crosses over Venus in the same degree, you may receive valuable information from your spouse. Keep your ears open to what your romantic partner is saying on this day.
Aries
Planetary transits from Aries ascendant sign in the beginning of November, 2025
For Aries ascendant or Moon sign, this month is a time for you to lay low and be careful what you say. As we start the month of November, your lagna lord Mars is transiting through your 8th house of Scorpio with Mercury. Mercury is not a favorable planet for Aries and will be turning retrograde on November 10th. Sudden communication from friends or enemies can take place this month, which will make an impact on how you decide to move forward. For Gemini ascendant or Moon sign, this month is a time for you to focus on your health and daily routine. As we start the month of November, your lagna lord Mercury will be transiting the 6th house of repetition, debts and diseases. Mercury will be conjunct the 6th lord Mars, who is also an enemy planet for your lagna lord.
This transit can cause problems in your daily routine, or even health problems, if you don’t embrace the opportunity to experience a surge of will power, and use this energy to overcome challenges. For Pisces ascendant or Moon sign, this month is a time for you to remember that the power of prophesy is given to fools and babs. As we start the month of November, your lagna lord Jupiter has recently entered your 5th house of children, creativity, learning and mantras. Transcript of Our Predictions for All Ascendants
On October 19th Jupiter will move into the sign of Cancer where it will be exalted and vargottama, meaning it will be in Cancer navamsha as well, adding strength to this transit. Jupiter will turn retrograde on November 11th and return to the sign of Gemini on December 6th, where it will stay until June 2nd of 2026.
Jupiter here will not be receiving any malefic aspects from other planets and he will also be in his own nakshatra, Punarvasu. This period of seven weeks is an opportunity which everyone should take advantage of while Jupiter is in such a good condition.
Since May 15th of this year, Jupiter has been transiting through Gemini, ruled by Mercury. This is an enemy sign for Jupiter, because Mercury represents skepticism, criticism and literal-mindedness. Jupiter on the other hand, represents faith, hope and wisdom which transcend rationalism. So when Jupiter is in the domain of Mercury, he becomes subject to the Mercurial tendency to nitpick and get hung up over specific details, which stifles Jupiter’s natural inclination to grant blessings through higher wisdom.
However, when Jupiter moves into his exaltation sign of Cancer, the world as a whole will be much more receptive to higher wisdom and spirituality. People will take more interest than usual in these subjects, and it is through these mediums that Jupiter will give his blessings of renewed hope, positivity and fruitfulness. You’ll most likely see a societal trend, where it is suddenly more socially accepted or encouraged to be religious or spiritual.

The name Ganesha (गणेश) comes from the terms “Gana”, a group of semi-divine beings who form part of the retinue of Lord Shiva, and “isha”, which means “lord” or “master”. Ganesha was created by Goddess Parvati to guard her chamber while she bathed. When her husband Lord Shiva returned home, he was stopped by the boy Ganesha and a great misunderstanding occurred. Shiva became very angry and cut off Ganesha’s head. This made Parvati very upset, so Shiva restored the child’s life by placing upon him the head of a divine elephant. Shiva then declared him the lord of all the Ganas. Thus he became Ganesha, Lord of the Ganas, remover of obstacles and bestower of wisdom.
Ganesha is one of the most important deities worshipped to help one in the study of Jyotish (Vedic astrology), as he is considered the God of skills, intelligence, arts, sciences and calculative ability. Ganesha is also the deity who is worshipped before any other deity, thus his sadhana holds the key to success in all other sadhanas.

Within the first few days of the month, we have Mercury joining Mars in the sign of Libra, and Venus crossing directly over Ketu, in the same degree, in the sign of Leo. Venus will then move into the sign of Virgo on October 10th, where the Sun is currently transiting, until it moves into the sign of Libra on October 18th.
Jupiter will move into the sign of Cancer on October 19th, where it will be exalted briefly until it moves back into the sign of Gemini on December 6th. On October 20th, Mercury will cross directly over Mars in the same degree, after which it will move into the sign of Scorpio on October 25th. Mars will also move into the sign of Scorpio on October 28th.
Overall, this month can represent a final clearing of tensions, which will ultimately give way to a newfound hope and positivity. Venus crossing directly over Ketu in the first week of the month can signify that there is still a danger to women, especially female performing artists or politicians. There is also a potential for experiences of rejection from women. This can be the case for men interested in dating or even for anyone (male or female) trying to approach women for any reason, even in a professional context. This will get better after October 10th.
