The Sanskrit “Aryaman” (अर्यमन्) can be translated to mean “companion”, “play-fellow” or “life-partner” and refers to a Vedic deity of customs, hospitality and marriage contracts, who is also considered a form of the Sun, especially during mid-morning. Uttara Phalguni nakshatra is connected with themes related to companionship, helping others from a superior position, cultivation of yogic powers, generosity and honor.
