The Sanskrit “Ajaikapād” (अजैकपाद्) can be translated to mean “the eternal unborn one-footed one”, and refers to one of the eleven Rudra manifestations of Shiva. Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra is connected with themes related to extreme beliefs, penance, unicorns, mysticism, eccentricity and futurism. Purva Bhadrapada is often considered the star of transformation. This asterism is symbolized by a sword.
