The Sanskrit “Ahirbudhnya” (अहिर्बुध्न्य) can be translated to mean “serpent of the deep”, and refers to one of the eleven Rudra incarnations of Lord Shiva. Uttara Bhadrapada nakshatra is connected with themes related to self-control, spiritual growth, priesthood, seclusion, kundalini energy or on the darker side, escapism through addiction to sex or drugs.
